Promotion + Events Coordinator

Are you organized, flexible, and a great communicator? Do you have a knack for social media? If so, you might be our new Promotion and Events Coordinator! 

Andytown is looking for someone to take the helm of our events department. This is a small department and a very self-directed role. You will be working directly with the owner of Andytown as events opportunities arise, and will be fully responsible for the planning, execution, and billing for the events. You will also represent Andytown at promotional opportunities and assist in social media marketing.

Job Description and Goals:

  • Coordinate all Andytown events, both public and private

  • Write quotes and facilitate billing for private events

  • Manage staff and logistics for all events

  • Work with the Graphic Designer to facilitate marketing materials for public events

  • Work with Graphic Designer to create promotional materials for Andytown

  • Assist in social media and marketing, including newsletter creation and social media planning

  • Create the Andytown experience in remote locations, managing events from start to finish. From logistics and load in to clean up

  • Represent Andytown at promotional events, including possible travel opportunities

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years in specialty coffee or events management/promotion

  • Passionate about good customer service and delicious coffee

  • Extremely organized

  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and roll with challenges. Events, by nature, are unpredictable. You must be able to anticipate problems and address them as they arise.

  • Must be able to work weekends

  • Must have valid drivers license

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours

This position will evolve as the needs of your department changes. You will sometimes be asked
to complete tasks or projects that aren’t on the above list. Please always communicate to your supervisor if a particular task or project becomes a part of your daily responsibilities.
